Irving totaled 38 points (16-29 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds, and three assists in 44 minutes during Wednesday's 118-113 loss to the Warriors in Game 3.
Irving had combined to contribute 43 points on 45 shot attempts during the first two games of this series, but his offensive explosion in Game 3 wasn't enough to turn the tides. Irving was dominant from inside the arc, yet he failed to make a three-pointer for just the second time this postseason, this after sinking at least one trey in 67 of 72 regular season bouts in 2016-17. Nevertheless, Irving will likely look to remain aggressive as the Cavaliers try to stave off elimination in Friday's Game 4.
