Jazz's Quincy Ford: Suffers head injury

Ford will sit out Wednesday's evening practice after being hit in the head earlier in the day.

Ford took a blow to the head during the team's morning practice and from the sounds of it, he's likely being evaluated for a concussion. He'll be held out Wednesday night, but we should hear an update on his status later in the week. Ford is a long shot to make the team's final roster, but could be playing for a spot on the Jazz's D-League affiliate.
