Cardinals add RB Kerwynn Williams to practice squad

Running back Kerwynn Williams was added to the Cardinals' practice squad Wednesday, the team's official site reports. 

Promoted to the Cardinals' active roster in advance of Week 2 to serve as running back depth with Andre Ellington (knee) out of commission, Williams garnered only eight of 59 offensive snaps, which he translated into one carry for three yards.

If Ellington sits out again Sunday versus the 49ers, Williams could again be bumped up to the 53-man roster.
