I wrote on Saturday night about why Phil Mickelson is easy and hard to root for. This is one example of what makes it easy to clap for the big left-hander. In the thick of an intense back-to-back match with Henrik Stenson on Saturday, Mickelson gave one of his Callaway golf balls to a young kid who came out to see him.
The best part of the video (clearly) is the kid and his friend just losing their minds.
All this clip is missing is a thumbs up from Mickelson. Lefty is going for his sixth major Sunday as he plays once again with Henrik Stenson in the final pairing at Royal Troon.
