Only 14 players made the cut at all four major championships in 2016. Two of the top five players in the world were not among them. Rory McIlroy missed two, and Dustin Johnson missed the PGA Championship.

Making cuts at majors is tough, much less winning one. So what these 14 players did is pretty impressive.

Here's a look at all of them ranked from best aggregate score to par to worst.

  • Jason Day (-9)
  • Jordan Spieth (+3)
  • Emiliano Grillo (+10)
  • Kevin Na (+13)
  • Lee Westwood (+14)
  • Rafael Cabrera-Bello (+15)
  • Martin Kaymer (+16)
  • Danny Willett (+16)
  • Bill Haas (+16)
  • Adam Scott (+17)
  • Bubba Watson (+26)
  • Justin Thomas (+27)
  • Kevin Kisner (+29)

Emiliano Grillo, huh? He finished T17 at the Masters, T12 at The Open, T13 at the PGA Championship and T54 at the U.S. Open. A stout showing from somebody barely into his 20s. Kevin Na and Rafael Cabrera-Bello were not names I expected to see up there. Jason Day and Jordan Spieth were, of course.

For Spieth, however, this is not the goal.

"I made the cut in all of them which obviously isn't the goal for me," said Spieth. "I contended in one and had a chance to win. I learned a lot from that experience, just wanted to put myself in that chance again. Wasn't quite able to do so from here to there, but not a bad showing in the four majors this year."

Not as good as Day. But not bad at all.

Here's a look at all the players who made over $1 million at the majors this season.

  • Dustin Johnson: $2.4 million
  • Henrik Stenson: $1.9 million
  • Danny Willett: $1.9 million
  • Jimmy Walker: $1.9 million
  • Jason Day: $1.6 million
  • Jordan Spieth: $1.2 million
  • Lee Westwood: $1 million
