I've seen less dramatic entrances into pro-am events than what Lexi Thompson did on Wednesday at the Kingsmill Championship Pro-Am. Thompson, who was announcing a new partnership with the SEAL Legacy Foundation, parachuted in to the first tee without her playing partners knowing about it.

"A dream come true is all I can say!" Thompson told LPGA.com. "Not only did I get to skydive, but I got to jump with NAVY SEALs, who are the most elite members of our military. We all get to compete each week on the LPGA Tour because of the sacrifices of the SEALs and their families, so giving back is the least I can do."

The jump does not look like something I'm going to be doing in the near future. Thompson has three top 10s in seven events so far this year.
