If Phil Mickelson lifts the Claret Jug, this hole could be a big reason why

Remember this one come Sunday afternoon. Phil Mickelson has not made a bogey through 12 holes on Saturday during the third round of The Open Championship, but he got away with one at the par-4 12th. Mickelson let his drive drift a little out to the left when it came to rest at the base of a gorse bush.
Mickelson somehow punched out into the fairway from there. Then he flipped a wedge to the back of the green with some, as he called it the other day, "delayed juice" that brought it back near the hole. Mickelson completed the all-world par. As Mickelson well knows, that's how major championships are won.
Mickelson still has just two bogeys on the entire week (both on the back nine on Friday).
