We've known for a while that Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, was going to have the outfield fences moved in this offseason. And now some photo evidence, via Padres' president and CEO Tom Garfinkel on Twitter:
Petco has been one of the more drastic pitchers' parks in the bigs since opening in 2004. The move of the fences won't make it into a hitters' park by any stretch. Instead, it's likely to get the park closer to neutral.
