Here's a sentence you didn't expect to read today: Ichiro Suzuki and Joey Votto spent the Marlins-Reds four-game series engaged in a free-food war.

Earlier in the series, an unknown Marlins player had large quantities of donuts delivered to Votto's locker. Per MLB.com, Votto responded the only way any self-respecting ballplayer would: by sending 51 pizzas to the suspect's locker -- the suspect, in this case, being Ichiro.
