CHICAGO -- As we barrel toward first pitch of Game 3 of the 2016 World Series between the Indians and Cubs -- the first Cubs World Series home game since 1945 -- fans are trying desperately to score last-minute tickets. The team leading up to first pitch of Game 3 at Wrigley Field will release a limited number of tickets for purchase.

As you've probably already guessed, the line to purchase those tickets -- however many there are and however much they cost -- is a serpentine one. Here's a brief walking tour of the queue in question ...

Obviously, those are the ones most likely to land a ticket. And how long have they been in line? One gentleman near the front estimated about 12 hours. Here's hoping it winds up being worth it.
