Cubs rookie sensation Kris Bryant just crushed the longest home run of the 2015 season. Here it is:

And here's a nice look at where the ball hits:

If not for running into the video board, MLB statcast estimates that the homer was going 495 feet. That makes Bryant's shot the longest of the 2015 season for anyone in the majors. Here's the top 10:

1. Bryant on Sunday, 495 feet
2. Michael Taylor, 8/20, 492.8
3. Jonathan Schoop, 8/26, 484.5
4. Nelson Cruz, 4/29, 482.7
5. Josh Donaldson, 4/23, 481.2
6. Hanley Ramirez, 6/21, 480.5
7. Giancarlo Stanton, 6/23, 478.6
8. Giancarlo Stanton, 5/16, 478.4
9. Giancarlo Stanton, 6/5, 478.4
10. Kris Bryant, 6/5, 477.4

On Bryant, though, the homer was his 23rd on the season to go with 86 RBI. He leads MLB rookies in RBI by more than 20 and is second (by one) to Joc Pederson in homers. Many of the homers have been big ones, too:

The shot Sunday tied the game, 1-1, in the bottom of the fifth. Overall, quite a rookie campaign for the NL Rookie of the Year frontrunner.
