Nationals infielder Stephen Drew entered Tuesday with a paltry .157/.214/.294 line and two homers on the year. He was able to notch a third with this play on Tuesday evening in a 5-1 Nationals win over the Phillies.

That's mostly on right fielder David Goeddel there. I have no issue with Odubel Herrrera going for that, but the backup man needs to be much further away from the wall in order to prevent the ball bouncing over his head. The throw home was pretty far off line, too.

But, hey, congrats to Drew on the home run.

The Nationals increased their lead in the NL East to two games over the Mets, while the Phillies have fallen back to .500 for the first time since they were 10-10, now having lost nine of their last 11.
