| Longoria progressing for Rays: Tampa Bay injured players Desmond Jennings and Evan Longoria continue to take batting practice as the duo is recovering from their respective injuries, reports MLB.com on Monday. Rays manager Joe Maddon said he likes what he's seen from both players. "I thought Desmond was real good, very comfortable, strong, quick bat," Maddon said. "Longo, the same thing, but I know Longo is a bit farther off than Desmond is." (Updated 05/21/2012) |
