White Sox designated hitter Adam Dunn endured a quiet afternoon at the plate Sunday against the Angels.

Dunn, who was forced to leave Saturday's game with back spasms, returned to the lineup as he struck out three times and drew a walk. He finished 0 for 3 in a 6-2 defeat.

Dunn is hitting .364 (8 for 22) with four homers and 10 RBI in his last six games.

"It's just more treating it and making sure everything is all right," White Sox manager Robin Ventura told MLB.com. "As of right now, it's day-to-day. Just watching him on the field, he had done something. I don't know exactly when he did it. We were watching him at first and he couldn't move around very well. When he came in, he just wasn't moving around too good. It just tightened up on him."

Dunn is questionable for Sunday's game against the Angels.

Frankly, if you couldn't stomach Dunn's batting sub-Mendoza line batting average before his two-day outburst, there is little reason to think you will be able to moving forward. He is who he is at this point.
