Twins starter Kevin Correia wasn't at his best Monday in Atlanta. Julio Teheran was for the Braves.

It translated into a loss for Correia, who fell to .500 at 4-4 on the year. Correia gave up five earned runs on eight hits and a walk over just four innings without striking out a batter.

He gave up a three-run homer to Dan Uggla in the first inning and the Twins didn't back him with much offensive support. He threw 75 pitches and his ERA is at 3.90.

Correia has lost consecutive starts with eight runs allowed over 11 innings. He's given up at least three runs in four straight starts. His next start comes Saturday at Detroit.

Twins starter Kevin Correia had a hard time keeping the ball in the park early on as he dropped his third decision of the year Tuesday night against the White Sox.

Correia (4-3) surrendered a pair of solo home runs to Adam Dunn and Dayan Viciedo, respectively, in the second inning. He was charged with four runs and nine hits over seven innings of work. He struck out two and walked one in a 4-2 defeat.

Correia has allowed seven runs over his last 12 1/3 innings of work. He is scheduled to make his next start Monday at Atlanta.

Twins starting pitcher Kevin Correia fell behind the Red Sox early Thursday, but held on long enough to win his fourth game of the season, 5-3.

Correia allowed one run each in the third and fourth innings, but was able to hold off Boston's offense long enough for the Twins to mount a comeback in the sixth inning. He surrendered three runs overall in 5 1/3 innings, allowing nine hits.

Correia did not walk anyone, but also struck out just one batter on 99 pitches. He pushed his record to 4-2, while lowering his ERA to 3.09.

Correia is scheduled to make his next start Tuesday against the White Sox at home.
