Cavs-Warriors NBA Finals: LeBron takes 'not settling' to the extreme in Game 2
This man's first-half shot chart is insane
From the opening tip of Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Cavaliers and Warriors, LeBron James' gameplan was clear: get to the basket early and often.
And by "often" he meant, well, pretty much every time.
LeBron took "not settling" to the extreme, as evidenced by his absurd shot chart from the first half:

And here's how he did it:

He's on triple-double watch at halftime: 18p/10a/6r pic.twitter.com/yQJ6PWNkNy
LeBron scored 18 points on 8 of 12 shooting in the first half, and NONE of his baskets came from outside the paint. He only took one shot (barely) outside the paint and made two of his three free throws. He added 10 assists and two blocks in keeping his Cavs within three points at halftime, 67-64.
It's clear that LeBron has one thing on his mind offensively: get to the basket. And in the first half, the Warriors could do absolutely nothing to stop him.
Turns out the magic couldn't last, however, largely because the Warriors scored so much that the Cavs needed to start taking 3-pointers while they were in catch-up mode. LeBron ended up with a triple-double (29 points, 14 assists, 11 rebounds), but the Warriors manhandled the Cavs in the second half to take home a 132-113 win and a 2-0 lead in the series.
