Knicks center Joakim Noah has had a rough year.

The former All-Star averaged 5.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists in just 46 games in his first season in New York after nine with the Chicago Bulls. On top of the lousy season, he was also suspended by the NBA for 20 games for violating the league's anti-drug program.

As if that weren't bad enough, now Noah has to deal with the criticism of former NBA forward Kenyon Martin, who was ruthless while discussing Noah on the New York hip-hop radio station, Hot 97 (the full rant starts at 15.17 in the video below).

Martin was discussing Knicks president of basketball operations Phil Jackson's inability to evaluate talent when he brought up Noah as an example.

"Picking talent? That ain't [Jackson's] strong suit, as you can tell," Martin said. "The man gave Joakim Noah $70 million -- boy can't hit his ass with both hands. ... I'm going to continue to go after Joakim Noah. That boy sucks."

Martin had some other choice words for him as the interview continued. He referred to an instance where Noah badly airballed a free throw last season and then made an interesting face.

"I've never shot a ball and made that face," Martin said. "I've been playing basketball for a long time. What basketball player you know that done that? ...

"I'll play him for his contract. Play him for his contract. Right now, off the couch."

Martin also did his best impression of Noah's airball face, much to the delight of the radio show staff.

The No. 1 overall pick in the 2000 NBA Draft, Martin last played in the NBA in 2015 with the Milwaukee Bucks. For his career he averaged 12.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game. Noah signed a four-year $72 million contract with the Knicks before the 2016-17 season.

Clearly Martin is bitter that a guy like Noah is still making money in the NBA while he was basically forced into retirement. Whether he has a case remains to be seen, but at least he gave us a GIF that will last for eternity.
