Warriors assistant Mike Brown took over head coaching duties during Kerr's absence due to complications suffered from a 2015 back surgery. Kerr also missed the first 43 games of the 2015-16 regular season with similar issues. He said that his level of pain is back to where it was before the Portland series.
Kerr: " I feel like I'm back to the baseline of where I was during the regular season."

Kerr also said that despite the news, not a lot will change.
"Whether it's Mike or me, we're doing the same stuff," Kerr said.
After absolutely throttling the Cavs in the second half of Game 1, the Warriors will look to take a 2-0 series lead on Sunday with Kerr at the helm.
