Free agent forward James Michael McAdoo will re-sign with the Golden State Warriors on a one-year deal, according to ESPN's Marc Spears. McAdoo, 23, appeared in half of the Warriors' regular-season games last year, and coach Steve Kerr used him in three NBA Finals games.

It is unclear if McAdoo will ever be a rotation player, but Golden State has invested in his development for a couple of years because he's one of the most athletic players on the roster. At 6-foot-9 with a 7-2 wingspan, he can finish off pick-and-rolls and has the quickness to defend multiple positions. Given that he is familiar with the Warriors' system, it was worth bringing him back to see if he gets more polished with the ball in his hands and makes good on his defensive potential.

After this and Thursday's agreement with Ian Clark, here's what Golden State's roster looks like:

PG: Stephen Curry, Shaun Livingston

SG: Klay Thompson, Ian Clark, Patrick McCaw

SF: Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala

PF: Draymond Green, David West, James Michael McAdoo, Kevon Looney

C: Zaza Pachulia, Damian Jones

That leaves just two roster spots for Warriors general manager Bob Myers to fill. He'd probably like to find a shot-blocker, but the free-agent market is pretty thin now. In all likelihood, this is pretty much what the team will look like next year.
