The Kevin Durant era with the Golden State Warriors opened Saturday in Vancouver of all places, and it wasn't exactly a shining beginning. He opened the game shooting 1-of-6 from the field, badly missing his first shot attempt, a fadeaway jumper that barely glanced off the rim. But his first points with the Warriors made for a great highlight reel:

An emphatic and easy two points, which seems fitting for Durant after choosing the Warriors over the Thunder this summer in free agency.

Durant is likely to get a lot of those points this year. He was rusty and still trying to find his place on Saturday, but those two points are the first of what Durant hopes will be thousands to come along with the titles he craves.

KD is officially a Warrior.
