Dwyane Wade played against the Miami Heat for the first time on Thursday, and his former team honored him with a tribute video during a timeout in the first quarter. Here is the Chicago Bulls guard acknowledging the AmericanAirlines Arena crowd while receiving a well-deserved standing ovation:

After 13 years and three NBA championships, this was the least that the organization could do. Wade is the best player in franchise history and arguably the best athlete to ever play in Miami. When his career ends, he'll have his jersey retired by the team that drafted him. A few months after he signed with his hometown team, it's still a little strange to see him in a Bulls jersey.
