After Draymond Green's prolific groin-kicking exploits last postseason, the NBA made a point of emphasis to watch for extra plays that involved players kicking their feet out and making contact with an opponent's reproductive organs.

On Monday night, Oklahoma City Thunder star Russell Westbrook found himself on the receiving end of a technical foul after Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was the recipient of a backward kick to the midsection from Westbrook.

You can understand him being irritated at that call. How do you intentionally kick someone backward? But it's more the reckless attempt to draw contact, and the repercussion was enough to draw the technical.

Of note, Westbook went on a 10-1 run vs. Detroit following that foul, but still the Thunder trailed by double digits at the half.
