Larry Sanders indicated in a recent interview with Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports that he plans on pursuing a return to the NBA at some point. "Once my art, music, and passions off the court feel stable, I will look into coming back," Sanders said. "I still love basketball. I want stability around me, and part of my mindset to leave was not to put all my eggs in one basket."
Sanders emerged as one of the league's top rim protectors with the Bucks in the 2012-13 season, during which he averaged 9.8 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.8 blocks over 27.3 minutes. That impressive performance earned him a lucrative four-year, $44 million extension the following summer, but his declining play and multiple off-the-court issues in his subsequent two seasons resulted in the Bucks buying him out of the contract last February. A year away from the game seems to have done Sanders some good, but the 27-year-old still isn't putting a timetable on when he might return to the NBA. Though he'll first have to convince the league's front offices that he's changed his lifestyle for the better, Sanders should attract plenty of suitors if he does opt to play again, given his 6-foot-11 frame and bundle of athleticism.
Sanders hasn't played since Dec. 23. The team has been negotiating the buyout for the past few weeks.
Sanders is averaging 7.3 points and 6.1 rebounds this season.
Sanders is on the verge of a buyout from the Bucks and Bynum is a free agent.

Sanders was suspended 12 games for violating the league's anti-drug program. He remains out indefinitely for the Bucks due to personal reasons, and is not expected to play again this season, according to Ric Bucher of Bleacher Report. He has averaged 7.3 points and 6.1 rebounds in 27 games during his fifth season with the Bucks.
