For the first time in the history of the Pro Bowl draft, Andrew Luck wasn't the No. 1 overall pick. However, a fellow member of his draft class was.

The NFL held its third annual Pro Bowl draft on Wednesday, and the first player taken was Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

Wilson was selected by team captain Michael Irvin.

The former Cowboys wide receiver picked one Pro Bowl team, while Jerry Rice picked the other one. Their teams are aptly named Team Irvin and Team Rice.

After Wilson went off the board, he had some advice for Irvin: Draft more Seahawks players.

"I like what Coach Irvin's doing [with the draft]," Wilson said during the broadcast. "I'm just hoping we [draft] the rest of the Seahawks."

Irvin then went on to take two of Wilson's teammates, Michael Bennett and Richard Sherman.

Irvin also drafted every single Cowboys player available, which wasn't a complete surprise because that seems to be his plan every year. Irvin also selected every Cowboys player last year.

As for Team Rice, the first player off the board for them was Eli Manning and that pick was made mostly because Odell Beckham was the player-captain on Team Rice. Eli had threatened to throw Beckham zero passes next season if he didn't get drafted early.

The most surprising part of the Pro Bowl draft was definitely the final pick. Apparently, no one cares that Charles Woodson is retiring. In what will be his last NFL game, Woodson will suit up for Team Rice after Rice took the Raiders defensive back with the final pick of the night.

The Pro Bowl Draft was a two-day event that started with an untelevised portion Tuesday. That portion of the event featured Team Rice and Team Irvin each selecting 17 players that were mostly linemen.

The second day of the draft was held Wednesday night and nationally televised by ESPN2.

You can see the entire rosters for Team Irvin and Team Rice below.

If a player has a number next to his name, that represents where he was taken in the draft. The 20 highest-drafted players are marked below.

The 2016 Pro Bowl will kickoff from Hawaii on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
