Jeff Fisher reveals the Rams' uninspiring plan for the QB position
The Rams plan on starting Case Keenum. Nick Foles will also compete for the starting job. Inspiring.

Jeff Fisher has a plan for his team's future at the quarterback position. Unfortunately, that plan not only revolves around Case Keenum but also involves Nick Foles.
Hello, Los Angeles. Take a look at the photo below and get used to it. Because everything about it -- from Fisher's expression to the Rams' 7-9 record to the team's quarterbacks -- is coming to a stadium near you. Fisher's quote is also in the running for the least hopeful message of the offseason. When every other team around the league is dreaming up scenarios that end in a Super Bowl, Fisher is out here talking about Case Keenum as his starting quarterback.

Inspiring.
Just so we're clear, these are the Rams' quarterbacks. Unsurprisingly, the Rams finished last in the league with 175.3 passing yards per game last season.
| Meet the Rams' quarterbacks | |||||
| QB | Comp. % in 2015 | TDs in 2015 | INTs in 2015 | YPA in 2015 | Passer rating in 2015 |
| Case Keenum | 60.8 | 4 | 1 | 6.62 | 87.7 |
| Nick Foles | 56.4 | 7 | 10 | 6.09 | 69.0 |
Then again, who knows if Fisher is even being truthful. Remember when this happened just a year ago?

Currently slotted to pick 15th in the draft, the Rams might miss out on top prospects like Carson Wentz and Jared Goff, both of whom are projected to be gone long before the Rams are on the clock. At this point, it looks like it'll be another busy season for Todd Gurley and another .500-ish finish for Fisher's team.
In Fisher's 21-year coaching career, he's won 52 percent of his games.
