Well, if this isn't awkward for the Jets.

Star defensive end Leonard Williams was filmed lifting a man -- who looks to be Jets teammate Darron Lee -- off the ground and moving him about 10 feet to diffuse a reported dispute on Saturday night at the Governor's Ball Music Festival in New York City.

The Jets responded with a statement saying they are investigating the incident.

According to Twitter user @gunnerpunner, who filmed the incident, there was a dispute between Lee and a woman before Williams swooped in. The eyewitness recounted the whole incident in a string of tweets that will surely make for some tabloid headlines in New York -- and could result in the NFL looking into the incident, per the league's Personal Conduct Policy. No arrests were made.

Williams attended the festival on Randall's Island on Friday and Saturday, according to since-deleted Instagram posts, with Jets teammates. In different videos, Williams was seen with Lee and quarterback Bryce Petty.
