Kirk Cousins yells 'How you like me now?' at Redskins GM after win over Packers
Cousins is understandably pumped after a big game on national television
Kirk Cousins bet on himself this season. So far, he's won -- big-time.
Playing under the franchise tag after failing to get the contract he wanted in free agency, Cousins has led the Redskins to a 6-3-1 mark, putting the team in a position to qualify for the postseason in consecutive seasons. His season peaked Sunday night, when he threw for 375 yards and three touchdowns against the Packers in a 42-24 win.
After the game, Cousins and Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan embraced on the field. Before McCloughan -- the man who wanted to make Cousins prove his 2015 season wasn't a fluke before handing him a new contract -- had a chance congratulate Cousins on the win, Cousins let his emotions fly.
To be specific, he screamed "How you like me now?" in McCloughan's face -- twice.

That might seem like a bold move, but considering this is Vine superstar Kirk Cousins, we shouldn't be surprised. Afterwards, Cousins explained why he screamed at his boss.
Kirk Cousins on "How you like me now?" to GM Scot McCloughan. "I'll always be trying to prove myself as long as I play this game."

Cousins has every right to be animated. He's managed to demonstrate to the front office and the entire league that he's more than just a one-year wonder. Through 10 games, Cousins is completing 67.2 percent of his passes for 3,091 yards, 17 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. His passer rating rests at 98.8.
He's not perfect, but at this rate, he's going to get that long-term, lucrative deal he wanted. After all, remember what McCloughan told Bleacher Report this past offseason?
Let me overpay him if he's good. If you have a productive guy, it helps everything, and it proves out. You look around this league and see the teams that are in the playoffs every year and look who the quarterbacks are. Look at the ones who win. It proves out.
Your move, Scot.
