Are you aware of the story of King Midas? No? Well, let's make it very simple: Everything the man touched turned to gold.
It turned out, that was both a blessing and a curse. When Midas hugged his daughter, she turned into a gold statue.
Cam Newton is very familiar with the story of King Midas. How do we know this? Apparently, he commissioned an artist named madsteez to do a custom painting of King Midas.

K1NG M1DAS & H1S GOLDEN TOUCH • Commission 4 my man @Cameron1Newton • I worked with Cam on the concept on this 1 and it really made me dig deep. The myth of MIDAS was that everything he touched turned to gold, which actually was a curse when he turned his daughter into a gold statue by hugging her. So I thought to myself, what's the one thing that you can't touch.....T1ME....No matter who you are or what you do, TIME is something we can never get back and WILL RUN OUT. Our time HERE, NOW, at this very moment, is GOLDEN....
