The New York Jets are getting dangerously close to the point where they might have to start paying fans to attend their games.

Going to a Jets game isn't free yet, but it's getting close. For instance, if you want to attend the Jets game against Indianapolis on Monday night, all you need is a $5 bill and a way to get to MetLife Stadium.

As of right now, there are hundreds of tickets online selling for under $10, including at least a dozen that were selling for just five bucks. As of Monday afternoon, the NFL's official ticket exchange at Ticketmaster.com had several tickets selling for just $5.

On Stubhub, tickets were going for as low as $6.

Basically, getting to the game will cost you more than attending the game itself.

Of course, if you're high-roller who doesn't like to sit in the nosebleeds, there's also cheap options for you. On Ticketmaster, you can buy a seat in the end zone for $12 that's just 15 rows from the field.

Also, if you want to sit directly behind the field goal posts, you can do that with an $18 ticket that's being offered by TicketCity.com.

I don't know about you, but that almost seems like a reasonable price to pay to watch Ryan Fitzpatrick throw three interceptions. According to TicketIQ, the price of Jets tickets has basically reached rock bottom with Monday night's game representing the cheapest tickets since MetLife Stadium opened in 2010.

Here's a fun fact: If every ticket in the stadium was selling for $5, Andrew Luck would have enough money in his game check to buy every ticket in the stadium for Monday's game.

Of course, if $5 tickets are still too expensive for you, just search Twitter and you'll find that plenty of people are giving away their tickets for free or people who got their tickets for free.

I'm not sure if these ticket prices can go any lower, but we'll probably find out in the very near future because the Jets still have two home games left. The cheapest one on the schedule could end up being their season finale against the Bills, which is being played on New Year's Day.
