Rob Gronkowski won't be back on the football field this season as he's been placed on injured reserve, but he's already back on social media.

Just hours after undergoing back surgery on Friday, Gronk shared a video to Instagram that showed off his hospital gown and his new walker. Although the Patriots tight end is expected to miss at least eight weeks, no injury is going to keep him off the dance floor.

"Dance floor tomorrow night, here I come," Gronk says in the video.

Gronk was accompanied by his dad, Gordy, in the video, and Dad seems pretty excited about decorating his son's walker.

"Step 1, we have the kid on his feet. He's back in action," Gordy says. "He's got his walker. We're going to pimp it out, throw some lights on [it]."

Gordy uses a NSFW word near the end of the video, so make sure to mute and listen to the video with headphones if you're an area where you shouldn't be listening to NSFW words out loud.

Rehab day 1! "Can't nobody hold me down... Oo no I got to keep on movin"

No one will be surprised at all if they end up pimping out that walker.

Gronk's injury was officially a ruptured disk in his back, which is why he underwent surgery on Friday in Los Angeles. The Patriots tight end originally suffered the injury during New England's 31-24 loss to the Seahawks in Week 10.

Before Gronk's surgery in L.A., the Patriots released a statement with Gronk's family saying they "do not expect that he will be able to play for the remainder of the 2016 season, but will await the results of tomorrow's surgery before making a final determination."

If Gronk is already hoping to get back on the dance floor, maybe that means he'll be ready to play sooner than anyone expects.
