There is a long history of Patriots quarterback Tom Brady getting punished for something and then returning to play and deciding to destroy the NFL by throwing touchdowns all over the place.

There is a strong belief that Brady, when he returns from a four-game suspension courtesy of the NFL and Deflategate, will decimate whatever team awaits him on the schedule. (Sorry, Browns.) One of the people who absolutely believes that is noted Pats fan and super Bostonian Matt Damon.

Damon, appearing on the Rich Eisen Show (full interview below), didn't rant quite as hard as fellow Bostonian Ben Affleck did, but he did launch off on the "slipshod" investigation.

"It's just the slipshod way that they were measuring these footballs to begin with," Damon said. "There was absolutely no science involved, they were giving them this cantaloupe test. And when they switched his balls out at halftime of that Colts game, I don't think people remember that Tommy went out and scored four straight touchdowns with the overinflated balls that they gave him."

And then Damon said Brady was going to come back from the suspension and "be pissed."

"Tom's going to be pissed. And him pissed is a good thing for the New England Patriots' faithful," Damon said. "We love seeing him like that. Because he's as focused a human being as I've met anyway."

The thing is, Damon is probably right. Brady isn't likely going to be happy when he comes back. If the movie star is accurate, Week 5 is going to be pretty miserable for the Browns.
