Report: Johnny Manziel fined $12K for middle finger
According to a report Johnny Manziel was fined $12,000 for giving the Redskins the middle finger on Monday night.

Johnny Manziel drew a week's worth of Hot Sports Takes after getting caught shooting the bird to the Redskins bench on Monday Night Football. And the Browns quarterback's now drawn a $12,000 fine for his actions.
Adam Schefter of ESPN first reported the fine, which is $975 more than the minimum based on the NFL's fine schedule, helpfully released this past week.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Manziel hasn't decided whether or not to appeal his fine as of yet.
It's hard to imagine appealing doing Manziel much good: there's AMPLE evidence of him holding up a middle finger in the middle of a nationally televised broadcast.

Of course it's always worth a shot, particularly if you can get the fine cut in half.
At the very least Manziel appealing would create another reason to keep the Browns backup quarterback in the news for another 10,000 cycles.
