Russell Wilson's wedding party only included two NFL players, and one of those players got into some legal trouble in the days after the wedding.

Colts running back Robert Turbin was cited for marijuana possession in Utah on July 8, Logan City police told the Salt Lake Tribune.

The citation came just two days after Turbin attended the wedding of Wilson and Ciara in Liverpool, England. The couple was married on July 6. Turbin and Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham, who both served as groomsmen, were the only two NFL players in the wedding party.

After the wedding, Turbin flew to Utah, where he was scheduled to hold a youth football camp on July 9. According to Logan City police captain Curtis Hooley, Turbin was pulled over around 11:30 p.m. on Friday after he ran a stop sign.

"The officer made a traffic stop and make contact with the driver, who was Robert Turbin," Hooley said, via the Cache Valley Daily. "Upon contact, the officer immediately smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. As the process moved forward, Mr. Turbin was very cooperative with the officers. There was located inside the vehicle, in the center console by the driver, a marijuana cigarette, commonly referred to as a joint."

After he was given the citation, Turbin wrote on Instagram, "Everybody makes mistakes."

Turbin was officially charged with one count of possession or use of a controlled substance on Tuesday. The Colts running back is scheduled to be arraigned on July 26.

Turbin was drafted in the fourth round by the Seahawks in 2012, and spent three seasons with the team before being released in September. In 2015, the running back spent time with both the Browns and Cowboys.

The running back became close with Wilson during his three years in Seattle. Turbin was even featured in a video that was recently posted to Ciara's Instagram page.
