The 'Trent Richardson to the Hall of Fame' campaign has hit a snag
The injury-prone Ravens running back is injured again
If things don't turn around soon for Trent Richardson, his career might not end the way he wants it to: with a Hall of Fame induction.
Less than 10 days after saying that he'd like to see his career to end with an enshrinement in Canton, Richardson's Hall of Fame campaign has already hit a snag. According to the Baltimore Sun, Richardson has a pre-existing condition in his knee that will "likely" require arthroscopic surgery.
It's not clear how long Richardson would be out, so it's unknown if he'd be ready to play when the Ravens begin training camp in late July . Richardson sat out a month in 2012 after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery during his rookie year with the Browns.

Even if Richardson makes it back in time for training camp, he'll still be a longshot to make the roster.
Although Richardson has dropped some serious weight in an effort to make an NFL comeback, he still can't seem to shake the injury bug that has plagued him throughout his career.
The knee injury is the second injury that Richardson has suffered in just two months with the Ravens. Richardson was also dealing with a hamstring injury in late May.
Richardson, who was selected No. 3 overall by the Browns in the 2012 NFL Draft, has struggled in each of his NFL stops. The running back only spent one season in Cleveland before he was traded to Indianapolis.
In 2015, Richardson went to training camp with the Raiders, but he was let go, in part because he showed up to training camp overweight. There's a good chance that if things don't work out in Baltimore, Richardson's NFL career and Hall of Fame hopes could come to a resounding end.
