For the first time all season, Tom Brady has been added to the New England Patriots' injury report. The quarterback was added on Wednesday after he missed practice due to a knee injury.

Although the Patriots didn't offer any specifics on Brady's injury, it's possible that he's still dealing with the aftereffect of a hit he took during New England's 31-24 loss to Seattle in Week 10. During that game, Brady took a hit from Kam Chancellor to an area near quad/knee area of his right leg.

After the game, Brady admitted that he was sore.

"I'm sore, but I will be ready to go next week," Brady said on Nov. 14. "Get some good treatment like I always get from my good buddy Alex [Guerrero] and I'll be good to go. It's part of football. Everyone plays with bumps and bruises this time of year. I'm no different. I'll get my treatment this week, get out to practice and be ready to go."

It's possible that Bill Belichick decided to give Brady a day off to help the quarterback's 39-year-old body heal.

Despite being held out of practice on Wednesday, Brady isn't expected to miss this week's game against the Jets. According to NFL.com, Brady is expected to "be fine" for Sunday's game.

One person who isn't expected to be fine though is Rob Gronkowksi. It was reported on Wednesday that the Patriots tight end isn't expected to play against the Jets. Gronk is still battling back from a lung injury he suffered against the Seahawks. The Patriots tight end, who was listed on Wednesday's injury report, was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
