WATCH: Eli Manning throws a highlight pass ... to the Vikings' Xavier Rhodes
Manning's woes against the Vikings continues
Eli Manning has a history of playing poorly against the Vikings. That trend continued Monday night.
For most of the game, Manning played conservatively, throwing the ball into the turf whenever he was pressured and making sure he wasn't tossing up jump balls. That all changed midway through the third quarter, though, when Manning threw a pass that looked like it was actually intended for Vikings' safety Xavier Rhodes.
I wasn't lying. Rhodes actually looked like Manning's intended target.

This is not a good interception.

Easy pickings!@XavierRhodes29_ comes down with the INT! #NYGvsMINhttps://t.co/SB8m24O9HF
On second viewing, it seems pretty clear that Manning and Odell Beckham were not on the same page. Beckham appeared to run a post route that cut over the middle of the field while Manning threw a pass straight up field. And that's how Rhodes wound up with the easiest interception of his career.
It's impossible to know if the fault lies with Manning or Beckham, but it is entirely possible to laugh at Manning's reaction. This is a classic Manning Face:

Manning entered the game with a career 54.8 passer rating against the Vikings. Yet, he didn't seem to think the Vikings had his number.

He isn't the only one struggling, though. Beckham has also been quiet.
He's not even the best Odell Beckham Jr. on the field. Here's proof.
