WATCH: Lions' game-winning drive ends with Stafford's clutch TD to Boldin
Matthew Stafford's incredible season continues
Kirk Cousins gave the Redskins a 17-13 lead over the Lions with just over a minute remaining Sunday, but that lead disappeared a minute later when Matthew Stafford countered Cousins' go-ahead drive by engineering a game-winning drive.
Stafford, who's playing the best football of his career, began the one-minute drill with a 23-yard pass to Marvin Jones. He used his legs on the next play to pick up 14 yards. He then hit Andre Roberts for a 20-yard gain. It took Stafford three plays to guide the Lions to the Redskins' 18-yard line.
Three plays later, he found Anquan Boldin for the game-winning 18-yard touchdown.
Matthew "CLUTCH" Stafford!

The @Lions are back on top in Detroit! 😱 #WASvsDEThttps://t.co/T8ZhCZ76fg
That's one heck of a route by the ageless Boldin and one heck of a throw by Stafford. Boldin's stutter step set up his path to the inside while Stafford's pass barely cleared Will Compton's outstretched arm. Stafford actually struggled -- compared to how he's played most of the season -- for most of the low-scoring game, but pulled it together when the Lions needed a score.
Golden Tate said Stafford, when he came in the final huddle, said: We got this ... Led the 24th game winning drive in his 100th career game

On the day, he went 18 of 29 for 266 yards. He didn't throw an interception and posted a 103.5 passer rating. So, Stafford's career-best season under the guidance of Jim Bob Cooter continued Sunday. You can read more about the Cooter effect here.
Meanwhile, the celebration in Detroit continues ...
Kirk Cousins just pulled off another YOU LIKE THAT? Redskins rally from 13-3 down mid-4th to win in Detroit. Skins win. I'm impressed.
