Injuries continue to hamper Falcons offensive line

The Falcons are without three probable starters on their offensive line as they continue to go through organized team activities, per

Left tackle Jake Matthews is still recovering from a Lisfranc ligament tear in his foot. Right guard Jon Asamoah has been held out of practice with an undisclosed injury. Center Joe Hawley is still rehabbing from an ACL and MCL tear in his knee.

Offensive line coach Chris Morgan says the team will continue to prepare with the players they have available while those who are injured continue to recover.

"These guys are working hard," Morgan said. "The guys who are out here, it's just the next man up. And they've done a good job with that so far."

The Falcons signed right guard Chris Chester recently to help fill the void left on the offensive line by injury.

Falcons list five as questionable for regular season finale

Falcons running back Steven Jackson and wide receiver Julio Jones are both listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers. Jackson was unable to practice throughout the week and Jones practiced on a limited basis Friday.

Guard Jon Asamoah (back) and cornerbacks Robert McClain (illness) and Josh Wilson (hamstring) are all questionable as well.

Kicker Matt Bryant (illness) and wide receivers Roddy White (ankle) and Harry Douglas (foot) are considered probable for Sunday.

The Falcons are currently 3-point favorites against the Panthers in Week 17.

Falcons G Jon Asamoah expected to practice Wednesday

Falcons guard Jon Asamoah is expected to practice Wednesday on a limited basis, according to coach Mike Smith, per the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Asamoah missed Sunday's game at New Orleans with a back injury. His status remains uncertain for Week 17 against Carolina.

Falcons unveil inactives for Week 16 clash at New Orleans

The Falcons have ruled the following players inactive for Sunday's game against the Saints: Quarterback Sean Renfree, safety Charles Godfrey, cornerback Ricardo Allen, linebacker Tyler Starr, guard Jon Asamoah, defensive end Stansly Maponga and James Anderson.

Falcons list Roddy White, Harry Douglas probable for Week 16

The Falcons have listed three wide receivers on its final injury report for Week 16 against New Orleans. Julio Jones (hip) was the only wideout that failed to practice this week and was deemed questionable. Roddy White (knee) and Harry Douglas (foot) were ruled probable.

Meanwhile, the rest of the injury report included safety William Moore (foot) and guard Jon Asamoah (back) as questionable. Cornerback Josh Wilson (hand) was designated as probable.
