Colts to give Delano Howell shot at safety
by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer

The Colts will give safety Delano Howell the first crack at replacing departed veteran Antoine Bethea, ESPN reports. Howell played in a limited capacity last season and had some big plays including a touchdown against the Seahawks.

"All I think back to is Delano Howell," Pagano said per ESPN. "We went out and beat a pretty good football team (San Francisco), I think he started at safety that game and had, I don't know, six, seven, eight tackles or something, was pretty productive in that ball game. He returned a blocked field goal for a touchdown against Seattle. He's not the only one. We've got guys in-house that will be great competition there."

They were joined on the inactive list by linebacker Kelvin Sheppard, defensive lineman Montori Hughes, wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers and offensive lineman Khaled Holmes.
