However, he's only been able to play in 16 games over two seasons as injuries have kept him from being a consistent presence on the field. Asked whether he was a bust as a result of not living up to top-10 status in two years, Milliner said it was too early to come to that conclusion.
"Man, let them talk," Milliner said, via NJ.com. "Let them label me as they want to label me. I didn't get to this point for being a bust. I'm just going to go out and do what I can do, and just let the people talk if they want to talk. It doesn't upset me. You get criticized ever since you're a little kid, all the way up, playing football. It's just part of the game."
Milliner told the Associated Press that he feels good and doesn't think he's on a "roster bubble".
Milliner played in three games for the Jets in 2014, recording five tackles on the year.
Ridley is trying to comeback from a torn ACL, while Milliner is recovering from a torn Achilles. Milliner has not been cleared to participate in team drills.

While other teams have inquired about trading for Milliner, the Jets "are content waiting for the third-year player to get healthy to properly evaluate him," the report said. The ninth overall pick in 2013, Milliner has played 16 games over two seasons, recording 62 tackles and three interceptions.
