The New York Jets have activated Dee Milliner (wrist) from short-term IR.
Milliner's return arrives at a good time for the Jets, with Antonio Cromartie dealing with a deep quad bruise. If Cromartie can't play Thursday against the Bills, Milliner will bolster the team's cornerback depth behind Darrelle Revis, Buster Skrine and Marcus Williams.
Dee Milliner (wrist) is unlikely to be activated for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, the New York Daily News reports.
Milliner was placed on the New York Jets ' short-term injured reserve list after undergoing wrist surgery in August, and now that the regular season's first eight weeks have passed, he's eligible to return. However, it's unlikely that Milliner will do so this weekend against the Jaguars, leaving the Jets' secondary unchanged heading into Sunday's contest.
Milliner is dealing with a wrist injury and will be eligible to return after eight weeks.
Milliner is coming off a season-ending torn Achilles. Milliner played in three games last season before suffering the injury.
