CB Dee Milliner cleared for Jets camp
by Elliott Smith | Staff Writer

Cornerback Dee Milliner, who has been battling an Achilles' injury, was cleared to take part in the team's practices at training camp, which begins Thursday, per ESPN.com.

Milliner, the ninth overall pick in 2013, is fighting for a backup spot on the Jets. He played in just three games last season before the injury.

Jets CB Dee Milliner not buying into bust label
by Jason Butt | CBSSports.com

Dee Milliner was seen as someone that could come in and contribute almost immediately when the Jets selected him with the ninth-overall pick in the 2013 NFL draft.

However, he's only been able to play in 16 games over two seasons as injuries have kept him from being a consistent presence on the field. Asked whether he was a bust as a result of not living up to top-10 status in two years, Milliner said it was too early to come to that conclusion.

"Man, let them talk," Milliner said, via NJ.com. "Let them label me as they want to label me. I didn't get to this point for being a bust. I'm just going to go out and do what I can do, and just let the people talk if they want to talk. It doesn't upset me. You get criticized ever since you're a little kid, all the way up, playing football. It's just part of the game."
