Saints' Drew Brees: Throws for 367 yards and three scores in Week 7 loss
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brees completed 37 of 48 passes for 367 yards with three touchdowns and an interceptions in Sunday's 27-21 loss to the Chiefs.

Brees' interception was a costly one, as it was returned 49 yards for a touchdown by Daniel Sorensen. The veteran rebounded nicely, though, finishing with his fourth performance of over 300 yards and three touchdowns. He has a marvelous 17:5 touchdown-to-interception ratio to go with 2,101 yards in six games.

Saints' Drew Brees: Explodes for 465-yard, four-TD performance in Week 6 win
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brees completed 34 of 49 passes for 465 yards with four touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 41-38 victory over the Panthers.

Brees' prolific afternoon propelled him to first place all-time over Peyton Manning with 15 performances of 400 yards or more in the regular season, and as it turned out, the Saints would need every one of his 465 yards to escape with victory. New Orleans was barely able to sustain what had been a 21-0 advantage at one point, but Brees helped insure the victory by finding a whopping 10 different receivers on the day, including Brandin Cooks and Coby Fleener for spectacular scores of 87 and 50 yards, respectively. The veteran gunslinger now has two 400-yard performances on the season and multiple touchdown passes in four of five games, including the last three. With no fewer than 36 pass attempts in any of his five games this season, Brees remains one of the surest bets for elevated yardage totals and multiple scores on a week-in-week-out basis. He'll look to help the Saints extend their two-game winning streak in Week 7 versus the Chiefs.

Saints' Drew Brees: Two touchdowns in comeback win over Chargers
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brees completed 23 of 36 passes for 207 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 35-34 win over the Chargers.

Brees struggled for much of the game, but when it counted, he led back-to-back touchdown drives in the fourth quarter to help his team come back from a 13-point deficit. He recorded his lowest yardage total since December of 2014, but Brees threw multiple touchdown passes for the third time in four games and still has a respectable 10:3 TD:INT ratio despite the pair of turnovers. Brees will enjoy a bye next week before the rival Panthers visit the Superdome in Week 6.

Saints' Drew Brees: Three touchdowns in Monday night loss
by RotoWire Staff | Special to CBSSports.com

Brees completed 36 of 54 passes for 376 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in Monday night's loss to the Falcons.

Brees was once again forced into a huge amount of passing attempts due to the Saints' abject defense, which left the quarterback playing from behind for most of Monday's defeat. Considering New Orleans' depleted defensive options, that could prove to be the case more often than not this season, but that harsh reality benefits Brees' fantasy stock wonderfully. The future Hall of Famer has now thrown for 1,062 yards, eight touchdowns and just one interception through three games, evidencing his success regardless of the circumstances.

Saints' Drew Brees: One touchdown in Sunday's loss to Giants
by RotoWire Staff | RotoWire

Brees completed 29 of 44 passes for 263 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's loss to the Giants.

Brees completed 65 percent of his passes Sunday in what was supposed to be a favorable matchup, but he only managed one touchdown in what was a surprisingly low-scoring affair. He was on fire in the season opener, which came at home, and Sunday's underwhelming production on the road by his standards is in line with a trend that has developed in recent seasons. The Saints will host the Falcons in Week 3 in what could be a high-scoring affair, so Brees seemingly is poised for a bounce-back game.
