| Dumervil inks with Ravens : The Ravens agreed to terms with Elvis Dumervil on a multi-year contract, according to multiple sources. ESPN reports that Dumervil is expected to receive a five-year deal worth up to $35 million. Dumervil was set to stay with the Broncos when a fax snafu forced the team to release him before his contract would have been guaranteed. That opened the door for the Ravens to bring him in. | Fantasy Analysis |
| Dumervil is expected to move back to outside linebacker with the Ravens, a role he played for the Broncos in 2009. Then he had 49 total tackles and a career-high 17 sacks, numbers that resonated well with Fantasy owners. Typically players that move from DL to LB lose value because they join a position deep with talent and high tackle totals. For that reason along with the fact Dumervil joins a defense loaded with pass rushers, he shouldn't be considered anything better than a borderline No. 3 Fantasy linebacker.
