Zach Miller sticking with Seahawks
by Marty Gitlin |

The Seahawks have decided to hang on to tight end Zach Miller, per They will pay the $1 million roster bonus owed him and have signed him to a contract that will keep him in Seattle through at least 2015.

Miller proved to be a scoring threat despite a lack of overall production. His 33 catches in the regular season included five touchdowns. He managed just five catches for 46 yards in three postseason games combined.

LaCanfora: Zach Miller could be cut
by Jamey Eisenberg | Senior Fantasy Writer

The Seahawks could decide to part ways with tight end Zach Miller , reports CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason LaCanfora.

LaCanfora reports that Miller is set to cost $7 million against the salary cap if he stays, and Seattle could save $5 million against the cap by letting him go. LaCanfora reports that "seems natural given his limited role in the offense."

Miller had 33 catches for 387 yards and five touchdowns in 2013.

Seahawks headed for tight end shuffle?
by Dave Richard | Senior Fantasy Writer

The Seahawks' cap situation isn't terrible but with several players due extensions in the future the team might work now to stay ahead of trouble. To that extend the team might choose to restructure or release veteran tight end Zach Miller. The veteran has a cap number of $7 million for 2014, according to USA Today

The Seahawks could choose to let him loose and promote fellow tight end Luke Willson to the starting job. Willson had 272 yards and one touchdown to Miller's 387 yards and five touchdowns.
