Broncos DST stuffs the run
by Larry Hartstein | CBSSports.com

The Patriots entered the AFC Championship Game with a dominant running game, but the Broncos DST stuffed them cold. Denver allowed 11 rushing yards in the first half, 64 in all. The Broncos held LeGarrette Blount to 6 yards on five carries.

Denver also got decent pressure on Tom Brady, with defensive tackle Terrance Knighton and defensive end Robert Ayers recording sacks. The Broncos did not force a turnover.

After giving up 16 points and 320 total yards in the victory, the Broncos DST will prepare for the Seahawks or 49ers in Super Bowl XLVIII.
