Video: Jeff Carter's Game 2 overtime winner

NEWARK, N.J. -- This has to be the worst nightmare for fans of the Philadelphia Flyers.

The two players -- Mike Richards and Jeff Carter -- that were supposed to lead them to the promised land and win the Stanley Cup are now just two wins away from doing it for another team.

And it was Carter that scored the overtime winner on Saturday night to give the Kings a 2-0 series lead in the Stanley Cup Final, beating Devils goalie Martin Brodeur with this wrist shot through traffic.

"Good to see him score, right?" said Kings coach Darryl Sutter. "Marty made some highlight saves tonight against good shooters. So good to see him score."

Carter also called it the biggest goal of his career to this point, saying, "I think this is by far the biggest. I think it's my first playoff overtime goal.

"It's a big one for the team. Gets us a two-game lead here, gets us where we wanted to be coming in here."
