LOOK: Justin Bieber takes selfie in Penguins jersey, Predators fans rejoice
Biebs is apparently setting aside his Maple Leafs fandom for the Stanley Cup Final
If the Stanley Cup Final's super fan -- the one who hid a catfish in his shorts and then hurled it onto the ice, then stood up to three charges filed by Pittsburgh police -- did not spark more support for the Nashville Predators, it appears Justin Bieber will.
The Canadian-born pop star was seen donning a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey in April, but in an Instagram selfie Wednesday, with Game 2 of the Preds and Pittsburgh Penguins showdown on tap for the evening, Biebs is shown rocking a Pens jersey in a locker room.
And, unsurprisingly, Bieber's caption-less pledge of support for the Penguins has prompted an outcry from fans of both sides, especially those (once) pulling for Steel City.
10 seconds ago, I was thinking about how great it'd be for them to win the cup. Now I want the franchise disbanded. This is awful.
