Ribeiro has first goal in seven games: Alex Auld made 31 saves, and Mike Ribeiro, Matt Niskanen and Loui Eriksson scored in the Dallas Stars' 3-1 victory over the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday. Ribeiro opened the scoring on a power play 9:26 into the game. His attempted pass was accidentally swatted into the net by Detroit defenseman Jonathan Ericsson, who sprawled along the ice in order to thwart a pass. It was Ribeiro's sixth goal and first in seven games.

Fantasy Analysis

The Stars took Brenden Morrow off Ribeiro's scoring line Wednesday and it seemed to help the veteran center snap out of a scoring funk. However, the duo are likely to be reunited at some point, so don't get used to the idea of not seeing the pair play together. Ribeiro is still one of the Stars' top offensive players and a must-start Fantasy option.
