Gonchar returns from broken wrist: Sergei Gonchar returned to the Penguins' injury-depleted defense corps on Thursday against the Senators. Gonchar missed 12 games after he broke his left wrist on Oct. 20. He failed to record a point in 25:30 of ice time and finished at minus-1. He took just one shot.

Fantasy Analysis

Gonchar returned from a major shoulder injury last season and had little trouble getting into the swing of things. So we are not too worried about his production as he returns from a far less serious injury. Gonchar should provide a huge boost to not only the Penguins but Fantasy lineups. Get him active for Week 8 (Nov. 23-29).
