Former USMNT coach Bob Bradley loses Premier League debut to Arsenal
It was a valiant effort from Swansea, but it was not enough
Former USMNT coach Bob Bradley made history earlier this month when he was appointed as manager of Swansea City. He's the first American to manage a Premier League club, and on Saturday he made his much anticipated debut in a difficult trip to Arsenal. How did it go?
His team fought back to stay in it and nearly earned a draw but ultimately fell 3-2 at the Emirates.

It ends in defeat at the Emirates, but we had chances to take something from this game.
Two goals from Theo Walcott and one from Mesut Ozil were enough for the Gunners, but Swansea twice scored to cut the lead to one and had chances late to draw level against the hosts, who were reduced to 10 men on 70 minutes after Granit Xhaka's red card.
All in all, it wasn't a bad showing, considering Arsenal is so good at home and a contender to win the league. Bradley's team looked organized in attack and was able to score twice after only scoring six times in the previous seven league contests.
Swansea sits in 18th place, which is in the relegation zone. His job is to save this team from dropping down, and after one game, the team looked sharper than expected, which is all you could really hope for if you are a Swans supporter.
