Travel around the massive country of Argentina, and you will see various street names over and over again. Most provinces tend to have streets or roads named “9 de Julio” or “San Martin” or “Sarmiento,” in homage to important dates or figures in the country’s history.
Well, here’s a new one. In the province of Missiones, there is now a street corner called Lionel Messi and Javier Mascherano. Yep, the Argentina and Barcelona soccer stars have streets named after them. Just take a look.

Well, someone there must be a huge Barcelona fan as well for that to happen.
Now, you would expect to see this happen in the Sante Fe province, where both are from, but in Missiones?
